Also no, artstyles cannot be "stolen." Not in the way that y'all say they do, anyways. Also people that police other ppls OCs? Strange.
lAnti-ship/Pro-Censorshipl I am incredibly passionate about this subject, now more than ever. I am fully of the opinion that fiction only affects reality if you let it, or are not old or well enough to seperate it. And if this is the case, you should not be in conversations about "problematic fiction", censorship hurts everyone, and will eventually come back around to bite your ass. The government does not care which ships you make exceptions for or what problematic fiction you personally read in secret (because I swear I find every anti indulging in secret) . I also believe kids ESPECIALLY should not be in conversations about underage/incestuous shipping or media. The absolute obession kids have over pedophilia and pedophiles is incredibly concerning, and should not be encouraged. It is LEGITIMATELY giving them cases of P-OCD. Thought crimes are not real, and if you truly think they are, you need to step back and seek help or remove yourself from the situation being spoken about. Please excersise scrolling or blocking. Also this shit highkey is the reason we have a federal fucking issue of people treating fictional characters better than real life people. And treating real people as fictional characters. I also think some of y'all are only woke for brownie points and don't actually care. Like its a moral pissing contest. This expands beyond just shipping, I am pro-fiction in general. We don't know the reason it exists, it could be a genuine piece of advocacy against predators, or a cautionary tale. It could be catharsis for a victim, or it could simply be a thought experiment. Not every dark fiction writer is the boogeyman. And thinking they are is a very childish view of reality, and it shows you are not mature enough or knowledgeable enough of legality to even be in this conversation. Not to mention, underage or incest is not the end-all-be-all of dark fiction. If this entire textclog wasn't clear enough, fuck KOSA and all its sister laws. Call and email your reps.
lNonsharing Yumes and Delusional Fictionkinsl Speaking of treating fiction as reality. Now, I do not think there is anything wrong with yumeshipping and fiction kinning. I do both. But I do not care what people say, I think non-sharers are enabling unhealthy behavior. "I know its a fictional character and I am not claiming to own them." But you are? Gatekeeping a character that isn't yours is absolutely claiming ownership. It also implies you see it as a genuine relationship, which is absolutely delusional. I will not entertain people who actually believe their F/O is real and in love with them. Yumeshipping should be FUN. Not a REAL relationship. This goes for Fictionkins as well. though to a lesser degree. I understand feeling so strongly connected to a character that we absorb them into us, and feel like we really are them. We have to remember we aren't. This is a character someone else made, and it belongs TO them, and we are not that legitimate canonical character. They are pixels, we are people. If you find yourself getting upset at doubles, or even think doubles exist in that way, please log off. You use them to fill in the gaps of your identity, not to exclude others from using that same character for comfort. Nor do you have any say over them other than what you do as them in your own body. You do not dictate canon, you do not control others. You also cannot get unreasonably angry at those who do not understand, we are not normal. Just don't engage.
lProblematic Medial I do not believe that liking problematic media, or liking media made by/primairily consumed by problematic people makes you problematic by proxy. It is your actions I judge, not the fictional content you consume. Of course, there will always be choices that make me wary, but prove to me that you are a grown person with a brain and i'll treat you fairly. Also, yes I am aware how problematic the media I consume probably is, you don't need to inform me, thanks.
lPuritansl Its one thing to be ace and sex-repulsed and another to be completely against sex and the normalization of it. One is valid, the other is harmful. Remember that sex, masturabation and pornography are normal and okay. If you do not like it, don't interact with it. Censoring porn and the open talk of sex creates more victims of sexual crimes, as information and safety also gets tanked with it. I also cannot STAND the perfect victim mentality. This harms male victims, not conventionally attractive victims, victims who have less talked about coping mechanisms and causes infighting BETWEEN victims.

The whole point of being queer is to be against the norm. Trying to sanatize queer identities is so stupid and embarrassing. If you don't understand someones identity or pronouns...who gaf. Just don't talk to them if you're literally that desperate to lick cishet boots. You're only hurting yourself, and then you drag us with you.
lReligionl I am antitheist. I hate Christians and Zionists the most, but the rest of you get on my nerves too. I used to respect paganism until I found out the majority of these creatures you revere are just creatures made by shitty people who slaughtered their neurodivergent children. Coughthefaecough. I'll keep you at a distance if you're genuienly a chill polytheistic devotee, but I really don't think we're going to get along that much. I will continuously criticize your religion. I only think religion is important historically, not in genuine practice. All it is is a cope against not being important or special. None of us are important or special, we're all just people, and thats OKAY.
